Young Minds’ Club students introducing the intergenerational gaps games to the residents

It’s the second year we are helping out with the PPIS Chai Chee Cares Carnival! Our project this year, Intergenerational Gaps, has the objective of highlighting the spirit of caring for the community and how the community can demonstrate care for the vulnerable, to raise awareness of issues surrounding inter-generational family relationship and to provide a platform for the community of carers to gather and to celebrate the community.

The Young Minds’ Club students manned the booths where we had interactive games and a sharing tree, and engaged with the residents there. We gave out flyers and our very own “bonding kits” that we had prepared for family members of all ages. It was a heart-warming community event as all residents, young and old, got together to create a more inclusive and warm neighbourhood for all.
